Fluval’s Poly-Max Cartridge is a 2 in 1 media which absorbs excess Phosphates and Nitrates to reduce unsightly algae.
Poly-Max provides the chemical stage in the filtration process which is beneficial in controlling unsightly algae using ion exchange resin secured between polyester floss.
The U2 Poly-Max Cartridge is specifically designed to fit the U2 Internal Filter, it’s advisable to replace the Poly-Max Cartridge every 2-4 weeks to ensure optimum filtration is maintained.
